Plans can change in an instant. Lives can shatter just as quickly. I had an entire newsletter ready to go out this morning, with four way-too-wordy ideas to share to hopefully get you to think, smile, maybe even laugh. But no. Plans change because lives were brutally taken away and a nation… a world… lie shattered because of what happened yesterday afternoon in Texas. I wish I could be numb. I wish I could cry myself to sleep. I wish I could lock my kids inside our house forever. I wish for a lot of things, but more than anything, I wish that the parents of those murdered children could hug them and squeeze them and talk to them and protect them.
